2007 In Music
As far as music, I must say that 2007 was a banner year for music. I got into French electro music in a big way at the same time I became more interested in "older" music like Joni Mitchell, Paul Simon, and Stevie Wonder (amongst others). In terms of live music, I saw Roxy Cottontail live at Sonotheque, Flosstradamus on a few occasions, Cartel at the House of Blues, Jack's Mannequin at the House of Blues, and Justice twice (once at Smartbar and again at the Metro). Happy New Year!
Quite possibly the most controlled and normal New Years Eve in a few years. We (Jacqui, Dan, Paul and I) went to a nearby restaurant to eat dinner around 9 PM. The place is called Absinthe, and it's good that it was only a few blocks away because it was snowing and slippery last evening.
