Mitnick is DUMB
Its been my proposition all along that Kevin Mitnick is nothing but a hapless guy who just got mixed up with the wrong crowd and is playing out the “security guru” thing as long as he can wing it ;) Well, thats half tongue-in-cheek but check out this new story:
Vandals deface ex-hacker Mitnick’s site
On Jan. 30, an online vandal using the handle BugBear bypassed the security on Mitnick’s Web server. The server ran on Microsoft’s popular Internet Information Server, but didn’t have all the patches applied, the security consultant readily acknowledges.
