A man died in front of our apartment
We came home from work on February 16 with a pizza from Pizzaria Bubamara. There was a guy who looked passed out (drunk maybe?) in front of our gate. A woman was with him (they worked together, and were walking home) and she was on the phone with 911. She told us he was diabetic and just passed out and fell over while they were walking.
He was breathing but completely unresponsive, almost...
PyCon 2008 in Chicago!
The only reason I’ve never made it to a PyCon* in the past is because of all the travel crap (airline tix, hotel, etc…). Now that PyCon 2007 is over, they’ve announced 2008’s venue and it’ll be in Chicago! Woo! I’m totally going to go :)
*: [PyCon], for those who aren’t nerds, is a yearly conference where people who love Python come together and learn and meet up and stuff.
