New desk emminent: Jacqui, you're on notice

After banging around my desk for the 5th time today, a post from Buzz Anderson came through my news reader. A new desk!
I love it and I think I’m almost resolved to get one for myself. It’s called the Pocket Desk and it’s by Offi. I love that it’s simple, looks pretty sturdy, and has that awesome cubby hole on the front. And if Buzz likes it, it must be pretty awesome ;)

It’s also got a nice cable management system in back FWIW :-). It is pricey, but I guess my justification is that I really considered a lot of desks, from cheap-o Ikea ones, to vintage store finds, to monstrous Anthro-style ones, and this was really the only one I felt was simultaneously a) big enough for my needs, b) ergonomically what I was looking for and c) aesthetically pleasing enough. It also helped that I got a good deal on it, right before Design Within Reach stopped selling it.
